Water beads have to be one of our favorite sensory materials, they're so therapeutic to play with! If you haven't seen these little gems before, they begin as hard, tiny balls. Then, after soaking in water for a day or so they grow to the size of a marble and are squishy, wiggly balls of fun! They come in an array of colors, some even glow! Needless to say, there are so many things you can do with these babies! This week we've been enjoying a water sensory bin, something I never thought I would allow indoors, but it has gone surprisingly well. I only filled the bin with an inch of water a small layer of water beads, and a few accessories. The kids have been hooked however, sometimes simple is best!
