Just because you are pregnant doesn't mean you have to give up your own unique style. Maternity clothes are easy to come by these days and pretty stylish. Once you get over that "awkward stage" of pregnancy where you don't look pregnant but you sure don't fit into your pre-pregnancy clothes, it's time to embrace your belly and all the changes your body is making. For me, there are three pregnancy wardrobe essentials:
- Maternity Leggings: I have both over the belly leggings, great for extra support under a shirt, and over the belly leggings, great for a little freedom and can double as work out pants.
- Loooong Maternity Tanks: I only have three but I wear them like crazy! They are great for wearing under cardigans and also can cover your rear when you wear under non-maternity tops that aren't very long.
- Maxi Dresses: I love love love maxi dresses pregnant or not! I can't think of anything more comfortable to wear. Maxi's are flowy which allows them to work with your belly as it grows, can work for all seasons and can be dressed up or down for any occasion.
