With Christmas a short two weeks away, New Year's Eve will be here before we know it!

Not sure what to plan for the holiday includes adults and children? Omaha Children's Museum has the answer: Join us as we "Light the Night!" on December 30 from 6-8pm.

This year marks our second annual “Light the Night” event at the museum. We designed this special ticketed event around all of the fun of New Year’s Eve, but one day early so families can celebrate the holiday on a night that is safer to be out and so the youngest ones won't have to be out past bedtimes.

Light the Night will include neon cookies, special '2017' glasses, glow sticks, glow-in-the-dark face painting, neon splatter paint, and a dance party for all ages. We'll even have some special characters to take photos with who will light up the room; one with his light saber and the other with her fairy dust!

This colorful night will end with an 8 o’clock countdown to fireworks to really light up the Omaha downtown. Tickets for this event are on sale for $15 for members and $25 for non-members and can be purchased on the Omaha Children's Museum website or over the phone.

Bring the whole family and ring in 2017 in the most colorful way!
