Happy November! Wow that is hard to believe.
Things got pretty busy around Werner Park leading up to Baseballoween on October 27th! Sorry if you missed it! You'll have to catch it next year! It was so great to see so many new and familiar faces at the ballpark even when there's no baseball to be played.
But boy do I miss the baseball…*sigh*…where was I?…uhhhh…Right!
Busy times at Werner Park! Now that November has rolled around, we here in the front office are really working hard to make sure that our 50th Season is going to be a huge hit! I can't wait for you all to see some of the things we have planned for the season-long celebration!
Of course, since it's November, I think it's the perfect time to reflect on the year we've had, and think about what we are thankful for! I'll go first! I am thankful for all of my mascot friends at Werner Park! Casey, Vortex, Kernel Cobb, Sizzle, and Cappy! They make every Storm Chasers game even MORE fun for me, and I love that we are all a part of the team!
I'm also thankful for my friends at ParentSavvy! They let me write this blog every month, which is the perfect way to stay in touch with you all! They also are a huge part of our season. They are a huge help with the Lil Chasers program (which all you kids should be a part of) and also some special theme nights throughout the summer. I really like working with them, and am so thankful to them for being a partner of the Omaha Storm Chasers.
And finally, I'm thankful for YOU! Yes, you! You and all of our Storm Chasers fans from around the world! Without fans like you, I wouldn't have anything to do during the summer, and that's no fun, because baseball season is what I love the most! And what makes it so special is getting to share it with all the people that come through the gates at the ballpark to cheer for our beloved Storm Chasers. So thank you for supporting this team with me! I couldn't do it without you!
Make sure to think about what you all are thankful for this month, and let me know what they are!
Until next time!
Wait, do I hear sleigh bells?...
