How's that Cabin Fever? Still need some opportunities to fight it? Fontenelle Forest has a great activity for preschoolers and their parents or guardians to try their hand at creating some scrumptious fun.

A wildly popular series offered during the week is "MudPies." This family program encourages adult/child interaction focused around a weekly nature theme. Free play, hikes, and other activities are offered for children ages five and younger. One adult must attend for every two children. "MudPies" meets Monday-Thursday from 9:30a.m. – 11:30a.m. when school is in session.

Other opportunities to fight cabin fever at Fontenelle Forest include Family Sundays, Snow Shoeing, and clubs. Stay tuned for the last post in the series.

Fontenelle Forest is free for members, memberships available at the Visitor Services desk. One Day Memberships are $7.00 per adult, $6.00 per senior (62+), $5.00 per child/student (2-17), and free for children under age 2. Parking is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. FF is located at 1111 Bellevue Blvd North in Bellevue, NE. Visit fontenelleforest.org for complete schedule of programs and other information. It is the general policy that Fontenelle Forest Nature Center is closed when Omaha Public Schools cancel classes due to inclement weather.
