Is there any way that I can bring my milk supply back?

My daughter is 5 months old and I had stopped breastfeeding after she was a month old due to her refluxes. Those are cleared up now and I would like to go back to breastfeeding especially after hearing about the recent recalled formula.

My problem is I have let my milk supply completely dry up. Is there any way that I can bring my milk supply back, or a pill I can take anything?

It is very difficult to bring a milk supply back if you have been dried up for 4 months. There is no pill that you can take that brings milk in.

The only thing you might try is to start pumping with a good double electric breast pump and pump for 20 minutes 8-12 times daily (about every 2 hours) to see if you can get it back but you would have to be very religious about pumping that often and patient as it could take several days to weeks of pumping and it still may not come back in.
