Should Baby Have Daily Bowel Movements?

I am breastfeeding my one month old and have been doing this since she was born.

They told me it is okay for her not to have a bowel movement everyday. If she didn't have one within 1-2 days after the first one that she is okay. But I am worried that something is wrong.

What is your input on this? I am worried sick that something might be wrong. I was going to take her to the ER but they said she is fine. She is acting like a normal one month old.

Babies that are totally breastfed with no formula or cereal supplementation, at 4-6 weeks old, can begin to have stools very infrequently.

They can go several days without having a stool and that is perfectly normal at this age.
