June 6, 2014 - Father’s Day photo contest captures Omaha dads’ awesomeness
Today ParentSavvy.com kicked-off a Father’s Days photo contest to celebrate dads of all ages and soon-to-be dads. The contest is held entirely online by uploading a photo of your dad, your child’s dad or the dad-to-be and including #PSDads and @ParentSavvy as well as a brief description of how amazing he is. Entries will be pulled from Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram. Four winners will be announced Monday, June 16 with the prizes provided by Omaha Family. Full details can be found here.

March 10, 2014 - Fontenelle Forest and ParentSavvy.com join together to offer families Hands-on-Habitat
ParentSavvy.com and Fontenelle Forest are pleased to announce a new program — Hands-on-Habitat — for parents and their children under five years of age. Lindsay Cooley, Fontenelle Forest Environmental Educator, will provide instruction for the monthly event. Hands-on-Habitat will be held the third Friday of each month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Fontenelle Forest. Registration is free when you register through our ParentSavvy page: parentsavvy.com/hands-on-habitat-registration.
The goal of Hands-on-Habitat is to help families explore the natural world together, providing fun, experiential learning opportunities in which parents can easily guide their children. In addition to indoor activity, sensory and craft stations, parents will be able to join their children in dramatic play, and even get outside for a short hike or walk. December 7, 2013 - UNL Extension Office partners with ParentSavvy.com to expand child nutrition and behavioral health expertise
As ParentSavvy.com continues to lead the Omaha-metro community in providing health information for parents, we now have experts from the UNL Extension Office who will provide nutritional information and behavioral health information. Along with monthly articles, UNL Extension Office experts will answer questions submitted to our newly launched "Ask a Community Expert" section, found at parentsavvy.com/ask/ask-a-community-expert. Topic expertise will range from child obesity concerns to teen depression.

Everything from Halloween happenings to upcoming snow days, our quick-tip slide shows will offer parents another way to gather local health and wellness information.
