ParentSavvy.com Partners with the Omaha Storm Chasers to Encourage Healthy Family Time

Omaha, Neb. (Mar. 18, 2014) – ParentSavvy.com, a regional online health resource for parents, is the new presenting sponsor of the Omaha Storm Chasers kids club—the Lil Chasers Club. To celebrate their new sponsorship and to encourage families to stay active and get outside, ParentSavvy.com and the Omaha Storm Chasers are offering discounted memberships to the Lil Chasers Club for only $10 at ParentSavvy.com/baseball.

This fun-filled club is available to fans 10 years of age and under and includes a variety of souvenirs and activities to keep them busy all season including: a Lil Chasers t-shirt and membership card, free Family Fun Zone passes during Wednesday night and Sunday games, free berm tickets to Wednesday night and Sunday games, opportunities to run the bases on the field and invitations to exclusive events throughout the season.

“Parents often ask me for ideas where the whole family can unplug, get outside and get active,” remarks Elizabeth Walenz, M.D., pediatrician with Methodist Physicians Clinic – Regency and a regular expert contributor to ParentSavvy.com. “The Lil Chasers Club is wonderful because it offers so many ways for children to be active and for families to benefit from time together. Studies show that active time spent as a family contributes to a healthy lifestyle.”

“We have so much for the whole family here at Werner Park,” said Caitlyn Brown, Community Relations Manager for the Omaha Storm Chasers. “We are excited about our partnership with ParentSavvy.com and appreciate their efforts in expanding opportunities for kids and families to join Lil Chasers to encourage being active.”
