cute baby boy pulling up at gateIf your little one has started pulling up, it won’t be long before he’s cruising—taking steps along a piece of furniture and holding on to it to stay steady.

If you haven’t already, be sure to pad sharp edges and corners on coffee- and end-tables and remove other hazards—babies in this stage tend to fall down a lot! It’s a good idea to keep a cruising baby barefoot or in skid-proof footwear to minimize falls.

Once he’s able to walk up and down the length of a piece of furniture, he’ll be moving around the room in no time!
